Flor and Forma Editing
Welcome to Flor and Forma Editing, a place where all of your editing needs can be met. Regardless of genre, my services are tailored to meet your needs. With Flor and Forma, maintaining the author's unique voice and story is priority.

About
My name is Savannah D.
Hello! I'm Sav. I started Flor and Forma because I fell in love with the book community--the stories, the people, the memories, all of it. I have always had a passion for storytelling and the power of words and realized that my skillset can help authors create beautiful and meaningful stories.
I received my Bachelor's of Secondary Education--English Ed. in 2019 and my Master's of Curriculum and Instruction in 2025. I pride myself on being a continual learner. With a knack for attention to detail, wit, and communication, partnering with me to edit your works guarantees a more polished version of your words.
When I'm not poring over books, I can be found making memories with my three beautiful children and husband and teaching high school. When I am not in the thick of everyday madness, I enjoy travelling, eating good food, and spending time with the people I love most.
Thank you for trusting me to edit your work.

Editing
Services
-
Developmental Editing - The first stage of editing will analyze plot, characters, character development & arcs, pacing, and structure to ensure your narrative is compelling & cohesive. Developmental edits help to refine your vision and strengthen the heart of your work.
-
Line and Copy Editing - This stage of editing helps guarantee clarity, seamless flow, and the overall impact of your writing. Here, I will focus on sentence structure, word choice, style, and grammatical accuracy to ensure your writing is refined. I work diligently to keep every author's unique voice, while also ensuring grammatical clarity.
-
Final Proofreading - In this final stage of editing, I work to catch every last error. I meticulously review your work for any lingering typos, punctuation mistakes, grammatical slips, and/or formatting issues. This final editing step makes sure your book is both ready for and rid of all errors.
-
Sensitivity and Diversity Editing - Focuses on specific perceptions and expectations of various characters, situations, and/or themes. This additional editing service checks that unfair stereotypes, cultural inaccuracies, and/or unconscious biases have not been unintentionally included in an author's work.
